Sol y Lean


We are Sol and Lean, two young Argentinian milongueros traveling around the world to share their tango experience in the milongas from Buenos Aires. We conceive Tango as a unique and singular way of expression owned by each individual. In our own experience, we have taken tango classes in multiple spaces in Buenos Aires with several teachers from different styles and backgrounds, as well as attended most of the milongas in the city gathering data and exploring different perspectives to teach using a wide range of elements, and offering many options to tailor our classes to our students' needs. We strongly believe that tango is not only a dance, but also culture. This is why we add useful cultural tips in our classes to aid dancers to embody the essence of true Argentine tango. In addition to teaching, we also TDJ prácticas and milongas according to Argentine standards. Dancing and teaching Tango is, for us, spreading the tango culture around the world.

How We Teach

Our Philosophy

Our classes are challenging and fun. We aim at boosting creativity and connection as the fundamentals to express through tango, and we teach using different techniques such as drills, sequences, creative activities to explore and deconstruct set structures, and experiment tango with the senses. We deliver our classes in Spanish, English and French upon request.

GROUP CLASSES

Our group classes and workshops allow only a few couples to assure a more personalized learning experience and accurate feedback.

PRIVATE LESSONS

In our private lessons, we use self-assessment, tailored observation, and error analysis as the foundation for your growth. We provide dedicated spaces for feedback and practice, ensuring you track your own progress and clearly communicate your needs and goals.

ONLINE TEACHING

We also offer online theoretical and practical classes, where we explore different topics ranging from the history of the different periods of tango, common myths and truths of milongas and the tango context in Argentina, styles progression, changes in tango-dance through time, etc. The practical classes are focused mostly on couples work, although we can also work with drills and individual needs.
